About the speaker
Dr. Violeta Meiliūnaitė – Chair of the Language Commission since November 28, 2022. Research interests: dialectology, geolinguistics, studies of dialect vitality and change. Together with Joana Gruodyte, she created the interactive teaching tool “Dialect Karaoke” (2008). Together with her colleagues, she has prepared numerous collective monographs and scientific studies.
Member of the International Association of Dialectologists and Geolinguists.
